AKB48 (Himawari-gumi) - Kioku no Dilemma

This is one of my favorite songs from Himawari-gumi's 2nd stage (and I swear, it's not just cause one of my favorite members is in it XD). I'm just a sucker for a sad song, I guess, but this is one of those instances where AkiP thought up a scene and just described it down to the last little bit, so that even if you've never been in this situation, you almost feel like you have, or that you're even on that beach right now.

A monologue suits the
deserted winter seaside too well
The horizon talks to me
The sound of the waves is a quiet response

I wanted it to ask about the boy
that I loved so  much

I want to see him
I can't see him
Even though we're right next to each other,
our hearts are further
apart than that
Even if I reach out
my hand, I won't
be able to feel his warmth
Love sleeps soundly inside my memories

On top of the sand, which is difficult to walk on,
I've lost my balance when it comes to living
The evening sky on the shoreline
where I complained held me

It was the first time that I had
loved someone like that...

I want to see him
I can't see him
It's not that anyone is at fault
This sad dilemma turns
into tears
Even though I
made the decision,
I can't forget his love
This pain will
outlast eternity

LOVE
GOODBYE
I'll throw away
yesterday's shoes and
LOVE
GOODBYE
keep walking
barefoot

I want to see him
I can't see him
Even though we're right next to each other,
our hearts are further
apart than that
I want to see him
I can't see him
It's not that anyone is at fault
This sad dilemma turns
into tears
Even though I
made the decision,
I can't forget his love
This pain will
outlast eternity
